With the hot summer days upon us while still in the throws of a global pandemic, the climate of your home is more important than ever. With many folks working remotely, schools and camps closed along with other activities and festivals, many of us are still spending more time at home than we would be otherwise.
So what happens when your AC isn’t working? Is it safe to request service from an HVAC contractor?
Here at Klimatology HVAC, we have been implementing multiple practices to keep you safe. In some cases, we don’t even need to come into your home. There are times when we can work on your units outside, and then follow up with an invoice via email. You have the option to pay electronically or send a check.
If we do need to enter your home, we will be wearing face masks and we ask that you do the same while we are there. The likelihood of the virus being transmitted indoors is greater than if outdoors, and face masks are much more effective when worn by everyone. It is also important to practice social distancing while we are in your home, and to keep a 6 foot distance between yourself and the technician.
To reiterate the two most important things for an in-home service visit:
- Face Masks
- Social Distancing
Keeping you and our technicians safe and healthy is a top priority. We understand how important it is for your HVAC system to be operating properly during the hot summer months, and we are available to provide you with prompt service. If you live in the Raleigh area and need air conditioning repair, just give us a call or schedule a service.
